Circle team
ISABELLA CATENARO
Isabella is an emerging artist based in Meanjin (Brisbane), Australia. They install keepsakes, interactive edible sculptures, needlework and audio-visual digital media and compose spaces as communion between subjects. They form representations of the abject-queer-uncanny body as a site of dirt, attesting to the fallibility of demarcated social, spiritual, and biological ordering.
TRINITY KOCH
Trinity Koch is a Meanjin (Brisbane) based artist who works with performance documentation, video, photomedia, and installation. She explores the connection between the human body and the natural world from domestic, spiritual, and environmental perspectives. Post-humanism and Great Goddess beliefs strongly inform her practice.
ZARA ROSE DUDLEY
Zara Rose Dudley's practice predominantly addresses personal spirituality, illuminated by her experiences of girlhood and advancing technologies. Entrenched in collage, video, soft and transient sculpture, Dudley investigates the processes of healing and meta-physical recalibration. Her vulnerable narratives are presented through the employment of found object, unmonumental material and a personalised library of supporting imagery and symbols.
NICHOLAS TOSSMANN
Nicholas Tossmann is a Yugambeh (Gold Coast)/Meanjin (Brisbane) based artist who creates self-referential work through performance, video/sound installation, and text-based works. He is interested in the conventions of having a contemporary art practice; the process of making, reflecting, documentating and using iteration. This has lead Tossman to dismantle and play with his fundamental understanding of the different components of art and his practice.
